What Type of Pools is This Paint Suitable for?
Our premium pool paint kit is suitable for concrete, fibreglass, pebblecrete, marblesheen, quartz, new cement rendered pools and ponds.
What Type of Pools is This Paint NOT Suitable for?
AquaSheen Epoxy Pool Paint has a high resistance to chalking when submerged under water. For example, with fibreglass pools, where the fibreglass structure has an exposed edge: i.e above the waterline. It is exposed to direct sunlight and therefore chalking (i.e dulling of colour) can occur at a more rapid rate.
We therefore DO NOT RECOMMEND DARKER COLOURS on fibreglass pools and would recommend a lighter colour choice (no darker than morning mist).
What Colours Are Available?
Our pool coating systems are available in 16 different colours. For help selecting the right colour for your pool, we recommend downloading the AquaSheen Paint Colour Chart or using the interactive colour selector above.
How Many Kits Do You Require?
- A 3.5L kit will do around 30–40m² of surface area. Coverage depends on the texture of the surface, as rougher surfaces will require more coating. Typically, a 7x4m² pool would require 5–6 kits to complete 2 coats.
- The Epoxy Primer Sealant will do around 50m² per 3.5L kit.
How Do You Apply the Pool Paint?
